MILWAUKEE - Drunk and dangerous!

That's what sheriff deputies encountered early Friday when they pulled over Daniel Samplaski. He was driving a three wheel scooter through the Marquette Interchange

"What are you doing on the freeway man," asked the sheriff's deputy?

"I don't know," mumbled Samplaski.

An obvious question for an outrageous situation. Samplaski claimed he hurt his foot and borrowed the scooter from a friend.

We're told Samplaski got on the interchange at 11th Street and tried to go south after getting kicked out of a bar on Wells Street.

Deputies said he reeked of alcohol.

"Daniel can you step off the scooter for me?" asked the deputy.

Samplaski fell trying to get off the scooter. His blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit.

It was a first for stunned sheriff deputies, but the fifth OWI for Samplaski even though he was busted while riding a motorized wheelchair.

Samplaski told deputies he drank a 12 pack of beer.
