MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man in a motorized wheelchair for allegedly driving the thing while drunk.

Deputies say they spotted Daniel Samplaski, 35, on his scooter in heavy fog around 2:30 Friday morning.  He was on a ramp in the Marquette Interchange coming from the north and heading east.  According to a sheriff's department spokeswoman he was in a lane of traffic at the time.

The sheriff's department says Samplaski took a potable breathalyzer and blew a .23 which is about three times the legal limit of .08.  He's being held in the Milwaukee County Jail.
