A published report says that the delay in announcing a signing between former Packers quarterback Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings appears to involve the amount of money the team would pay Favre.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press says that Favre have leverage to demand a $10 million contract.

The report claims that the likelihood of Favre signing with the Vikings would greatly diminsh if an agreement doesn't come by the July 29th start of Vikings training camp.
