City Hires Terrier To Terrorize Bedbugs
MILWAUKEE - The City of Milwaukee has hired a dog to help you not let the bedbugs bite.
Gracie is a terrier that the Milwaukee Housing Authority hopes will be a terror to bedbugs.
The city hired Gracie to go into homes and smell if there are any live bedbugs or bedbug eggs.
Pepe Peruyero runs the canine academy which sold the dog to the city.
He told the Journal Sentinel that Milwaukee's the only city to hire a dog to bust bedbugs, though some hotels and other businesses have hired dogs to hunt down the bugs.
