Local NewsPolice: Summerfest "Very Peaceful"MILWAUKEE - Police say that the 2009 Summerfest was a "very peaceful" festival. Police spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz said that officers arrested 111 people during the 11-day festival. She said the majority of those arrested were for disorderly conduct and underage drinking. One person was arrested, charged, and has admitted to stealing $20,000 from a car which had money going into an ATM on the Summerfest grounds. Click here for more on that story. |
