Man Sentenced for Naked Teen Photos
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- An Eau Claire man accused of storing naked pictures of a 15-year-old girl on a cell phone faces 13 months in jail.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jeremy Mizer was sentenced after pleading no contest to two amended misdemeanor counts of causing a child to expose herself. Nine counts of possession of child pornography were dismissed.
He also pleaded no contest Wednesday to an unrelated misdemeanor of failing to report to jail.
The criminal complaint said a woman found nine sexually explicit photos of the girl on the phone after letting Mizer use it. The woman knew the identity of the girl.
According to the complaint, Mizer told police he didn't know how the photos got on the phone, but the girl said she met Mizer last summer, and as they exchanged text messages he asked her to send nude photos of herself, knowing she was 15.
