Local NewsSecurity Video: Cedarburg Bank RobberyBy Mike JacobsCEDARBURG - They're still searching for the man who pulled off a bold bank robbery in Cedarburg on Monday. But newly released security video may help lead to that suspect. The security camera video shows the robber walking into the Commerce State Bank on Washington Avenue. If you watch the video closely (click "video" link on the left), you can see the man with a gun in his right hand. He approached an elderly woman at the counter and demands her car keys. According to police, she said, "No." Then the robber ordered the woman into a back room to be locked up. She refused. Instead, she walked out of the bank and called 911. The robber then herded employees and the remaining customer into a back room. The robber also put what he said was a bomb in the room. That turned out to be a fake. Eventually he got away with money, leaving people frightened, but not hurt. Authorities think the robber was wearing a fake beard. They think he's a man in his 50s or 60s.
