Woman, 84, Smashes Car into Store

CUDAHY - Police were called to a car into a building at 6 p.m. Sunday. They tell us an 84-year-old South Milwaukee woman mistakenly put the car in reverse and then hit the accelerator. She was going at a high rate a speed when she smashed into the AutoZone building in the Packard Plaza Shopping Center on Packard Avenue. A Flight for Life helicopter took the woman to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. There's no word on her condition.
