WATERTOWN - An 18-year-old woman from Johnson Creek is dead in a rollover accident Thursday night in Jefferson County.

Sheriff's officials say Tiffany Haseleu died when the car she was driving went off of Highway Y in the town of Watertown and rolled several times.

Haseleu was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.

The accident happened at 8:19 p.m. about eight-tenths of a mile west of Highway 26.

A passenger, a Werner Balmer, 74, from Watertown, was wearing his belt. He suffered serious injuries and was taken by a Flight for Life helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. There's no word on his condition.

Investigators said it appears that speed may have been a factor in the crash.
