Kiefer's Death Officially Ruled Overdose

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner today has officially declared the death of a 15-year-old girl from Whitefish Bay an overdose.  According to the Medical Examiner, Maddie Kiefer died of acute mixed drug intoxication.  It lists Clonazepam and Buprenophine.  The manner of death is considered an accident.

Kiefer was found dead in the driveway of a friend's home on March 1st.  Prosecutors have charged three people in connection with the death.

Matthew Laughrin and Brittney Blue are accused of helping Kiefer get the drugs that eventually killed her.  Prosecutors think Blue gave the drugs to Laughrin and Laughrin gave the drugs to Kiefer.

Laughrin's father, Richard, is accused of helping his son leave Kiefer in the driveway of the home where she was eventually found.
