Identification of Dead Body in Kenosha Park
KENOSHA - Police said Tuesday they have identified the dead body that was found in a park on Monday morning.
Police say Gary T. Appel, 51, who was from Kenosha, was found dead.
In a statement, authorities said that the autopsy showed no significant acute injuries.
Appel was discovered in Wolfenbuttel Park on the 5900 block of 3rd Avenue.
A woman who was taking a walk found his body.
Police believe cold weather may have contributed to his death.
