Raw Video: Second Deadly Fire in Fond du Lac
It's unusual to have one fatal fire in the City of Fond du Lac. On New Year's Eve, it had two.
Hours after an apartment fire killed a 21-year-old man in the city, flames engulfed a home on fourth street. According to the Fond du Lac Reporter, the fire was so intense that firefighters couldn't get into the house until seven hours after the fire was first reported.

Once the firefighters were able to get inside, they found a man's body. The body is believed to be a man who shared the home with his wife. Family is identifying the victim as Leland Haskins.
Authorities believe the fire started in the living room and say at this point, the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
Haskin's wife and daughter had gone to another daughter's home to celebrate the New Year. He'd stayed behind because he wasn't feeling well.
