Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where we talk about stuff that really is hot, and we have you talking.
Friday on Live at 3:00, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and Susie Falk from the Falk Group appeared to talk about whether the city of Milwaukee is issuing a large number of winter parking tickets as a way of generating revenue.
This is based on an article from JSOnline.com that says from Monday to Wednesday, 1,468 parking winter restriction tickets were handed out in Milwaukee, with another 1,149 tickets given to people who parked in prohibited spots.
The article says Milwaukee’s parking enforcement manager says fewer parking citations have been issued this winter than normal.
The article also talks about how the parking rules, and rules for clearing sidewalks and shoveling snow, as well as how to drive on snowy and icy roads, seems to have taken people by surprise as we begin this winter season.
