Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where we talk about stuff that really is hot, and we have you talking.
Wednesday on Live at 3:00, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and Jon Anne Willow from VITAL Source Magazine appeared to talk about whether people will spend less this year on Black Friday.
CNN.com has launched a special section with articles such as “Spending expected to be more Scrooge than Santa in ‘08” and “Sharp decline seen in holiday shoppers,” as well as ways to save and a poll asking whether people will spend less this season.

They also discussed whether traffic tickets for tots is a good idea.
A north Texas town has found a unique way to bring Christmas home and get drivers to slow down.
Instead of issuing traffic tickets to speeders, officers are handing out tickets for tots.
Drivers won’t pay a fine for these tickets, but they will have to bring a toy to the police station for charity.
The program runs through December.
