Monday on Live at 3:00, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and Tracy Johnson from TEMPO Milwaukee appeared to talk about whether Wisconsin should comply with federal Real ID requirements which require drivers to provide extensive background information before a driver’s license can be issued.

The Department of Transportation plan to comply with the federal law requiring more secure state IDs would mean drivers would have to wait several weeks to get their licenses a year from now.
It’s a $17 million plan, and state lawmakers are skeptical, considering the state faces a record budget shortfall of $5 billion.
