What's Hot Tuesday: Musical Road
Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where you can give us your take on a topic.
Tuesday on Live at 3:00, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and Tracy Johnson from TEMPO Milwaukee appeared to talk about controversy over a famous musical road in Lancaster, California.
When you drive down the road, music plays to the delight of some and horror of others.
The Honda car company created it for a commercial, but it became an instant hit with motorists.
Soon, however, the noise began to frustrate residents and the city eliminated the grooves, silencing the music.
This led to even more complaints at City Hall, and the city council voted unanimously to bring the road back in a more appropriate location, away from bedroom windows, with is a $28,000 project.
Could something like this work in Milwaukee?
