Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where we talk about stuff that really is hot, and we have you talking. Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and WKTI’s Erin Austin appeared on Live at 3:00 Tuesday to discuss political satire. Tina Fey’s impersonation skits of Sarah Palin continue to dominate water cooler talks across the nation. Fey says she will continue to do the popular skits on SNL at least until the November election. A New York Post article notes that political spoofs can actually do in a politician and influence a campaign. How much influence do these comedy skits really have?
