Monday Sound Off: Treat Ban, Political Buttons

Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where we talk about things that really are hot, and we have you talking. Monday, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner appeared to talk about the birthday treat ban! Many school districts are going healthy. In one case, the Neenah School District has tightened its wellness policy this year, and banned cupcakes, candy and other sweet treats. Is this going too far if it’s just an occasional treat? They also discussed some New York school teachers who are suing for the right to wear political buttons in classrooms. The teachers claim their free speech rights are being violated.
