Every day on Live at 3:00, we have a segment called “What’s Hot,” where we talk about things that really are hot, and we have you talking. Thursday, Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s Jeff Wagner and Lora Hyler from Hyler Communications appeared on Live at 3:00 to talk about how what’s old is new again when it comes to our struggling economy. Consumers are turning away from retail prices in their search for a bargain price. Thrift stores are becoming hot spots, and even outlet stores are seeing booms in business. They also discussed Saturday Night Live launching a weekend update show in primetime Thursday night. There will no doubt be talk about the upcoming presidential election and maybe even a visit by some of the candidates. Tina Fey has been turning heads with her Sarah Palin impression.
