Stand Pipe Testing On Marquette Interchange

MILWAUKEE - If you drove through the Marquette Interchange Wednesday night, you may have noticed some fire department activity. There was no problem: the department was just testing a new stand pipe system. It's a unique system that allows crews to get water up to the highest levels of the renovated interchange in case of a fire.
