Local NewsTrain Tracks in Watertown Tied Up Due to Snow Removal Vehicle AccidentBy By Jay SorgiWATERTOWN - A train track in Watertown that serves Amtrak passengers is currently being tied up in Watertown due to an accident involving a snow removal vehicle. Newsradio 620 WTMJ's John Jagler reports that someone was heading on a road near the tracks with a snow removal vehicle when it smashed into a railroad crossing sign at the tracks. Jagler says the vehicle broke into pieces, and the damage is on the tracks, delaying a freight train and possibly any Amtrak trains that might use the tracks. So far, there are no reports of any injuries. |
