  • Print

The FDA will not waver, sticking with its ruling that Bisphenol A is safe.

The chemical, also known has BPA, is used to make thousands of plastic household products and has been linked to heart disease and diabetes.

The Journal Sentinel, which has been investigating the effects this past year, says the FDA posted a letter to advisory board members saying that unless something new is uncovered, it will continue to recommend that BPA is safe for use.
