Local NewsMotor Provides A Cure For Rumbling StomachsBy Katie DeLong
MILWAUKEE - Get your motors running!
Thousands of bikers are descending on Milwaukee for Harley’s 105th anniversary. So how is the new Harley museum getting ready for the crowd?
After rumbling throughout the city, those Harley riders will have some rumbling stomachs. We found a cure for that at the Motor Restaurant, next to the new Harley-Davidson Museum.
Chef Dan McEvoy is serving up tons of food that spells Wisconsin and Harley through and through.
“All sorts of Harley foods...big bold flavors, big portions. Real open road food,” McEvoy said.
Big and bold is right. Riders and non-riders alike can enjoy the fun, comfortable atmosphere right next to the Harley Museum.
It's about eating, greeting…all while sharing the passion of Harley-Davidson and good times.
TODAY’S TMJ4’s Melanie Stout: “You’re coming out here and meeting with all the customers too.”
“Oh yeah, I love it. Good feedback. Everybody has a great time here. If you're not here, having fun, you’re really missing out. It’s a great time,” McEvoy said.
Customers from all over are chowing down at Motor so they can fuel up their own motors.
“First you got to fill up the belly and then go. Energy. Got to have energy,” Doug Smith, a biker from Michigan said.
You don't need a Harley Museum ticket to eat at Motor. Travelers and locals are always welcome for lunch or dinner.
“We've got so many events and so much food, I don’t think there's gonna be any food in that station when were done,” McEvoy said.
