Chellsie Memmel On The Morning Blend

WEST ALLIS - The Olympics have come to a close, but West Allis' Chellsie Memmel is back home and talking about her experience. Memmel helped the U.S. women's gymnastics team win a silver medal, despite having a broken ankle. She brought that medal with her Monday when she was on the Morning Blend. Chellsie says another Olympics may be in her future. “I have decided that I want to continue and just, I am going to take it a year at a time and see how everything goes, but it's definitely a possibility!" Memmel said. West Allis will have a parade to honor their hometown hero. The parade will start at 5:30 Tuesday night at City Hall's Centennial Park Plaza. Memmel will arrive on a West Allis fire engine with a police escort.
