GREENFIELD – Get your motors running: it’s almost Harley time!
The Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary is coming fast, and Harley dealers are preparing for the crowds.
At the House of Harley at 62nd and Layton in Greenfield, one by one, a new load of Harleys arrived Friday. The dealership is going all out again, to celebrate another Harley-Davidson milestone!
New bikes, tons of vendors, they even have barricades ready to go to shut down Layton Avenue.
Tents are being set up all over for the big celebration, and it’s not just in Greenfield.
“We’ve got a Water Street location, Brady Street location, Veterans Park, another Water Street location, and our actual trailer, our T-shirt trailer is going out in three different areas,” Jodi Politowski with the House of Harley said.
House of Harley’s bash will have tents of live music, food and of course, bikes. It’s a lot of work, but they anticipate a big success.
TODAY’S TMJ4’s Diane Pathieu: “Do you already have an idea of how many people are going to show up?”
“No. Bring them on though. I have no clue. It’ll be great!” Politowski said.
