KENOSHA – It was a rude awakening Friday morning for some Kenosha residents.
A fire woke them up early Friday morning.

Luckily, they were able to escape in time.
The blaze looks like it may have started in the back of the house where the damage is most concentrated.
There is no word on how the fire started.
