Man Charged In Murder For Hire Plot

WEST BEND – A West Bend man is charged in a murder for hire plot. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department reports Arthur Ankebrant tried to get an undercover detective to kill the father of a child Ankebrant molested and Ankebrant’s probation officer. He faces 24 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.
