SAUK COUNTY – Flood relief remains on hold in Sauk County. That’s because an entire neighborhood in Spring Green is still underwater. FEMA says they can’t go in, and for now, there’s no plan to get that water out. “You just wonder what’s going to happen. Our lives are all upset over this. We don’t know where to go, what to do,” Gene Dischler said. More than 200 residents in Spring Green have flood damage. FEMA expects water to start receding over the next couple of weeks, and only after that, will inspectors step in.
