KENOSHA - Half of a Kenosha business building is a complete loss after a fire early Thursday morning. Click on the link under related content to see video from the scene. Fire crews were still on the scene Thursday morning, battling hot spots. The building contained David Insurance, a dentist's office and a counseling center, and fire crews were able to save half of the building. The fire started just before midnight. Someone driving by saw the flames and called 911. The fire captain said the fire was fierce and part of the building collapsed. Smoke could be seen pouring out of the roof. The fire was eventually put out. No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. A member of the fire crew was overcome by smoke while taking pictures of the damage, and was taken to the hospital with minor smoke inhalation. An investigator is on the scene to determine how the fire started.
