Local NewsRaw Video: Missing Man Found Safe After Four MonthsBy Erin Drew Kent
GLENDALE - A Bayside man missing more than four months has been found safe.
Brian Martin, 34, disappeared in January.
He was last spotted at a bus stop across from Bayshore Mall back in January. That was until Tuesday when he was found safe at a camp ground in Fond du Lac County.
His aunt, Debby Kanter, says she rejoiced when she heard Martin was alive.
“Thank God, thank God. That's all we wanted,” Kanter said.

It has been a long four months for Brian’s family. In the dead of winter, the Bayside man vanished without a trace. They wondered if they'd ever see him alive again.
“We had no idea where he was or if he'd ever come back. Every day that went by, we were losing hope,” Kanter said.
Then they got the call. Brian was found at camp ground near Fond du Lac. He lost some weight, but seemed OK.
“You pray that you are going to get that phone call, someone telling you that everything is okay and we got that last night,” Kanter said.
Martin hasn't said much about how he made it through all of those months, telling a relative he lived off the land and made it through the best way he could.
“It’s amazing after the winter we had. I can't believe that he could. I guess he is a survivor. He has a lot of strength,” Kanter said.
Kanter says if there is a lesson to Martin’s story it would be: never give up hope on the ones you love.
“You can't. You can't because then you lose everything inside. You love him and you can't lose that hope,” Kanter said.
Martin's family members say they will not press him on the details about why he left or what he's been doing over the last four months. They say they will let him tell his story in his own time.
