Boy Killed In Sledding Accident

TOWNSHIP OF ARCADIA - A 5-year-old boy was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver after sledding onto a road in Trempealeau County. Robert Kreibich, 50, of rural Arcadia, was later located and arrested, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department. Matthew McKay, the son of Mark and Sue McKay, of rural Arcadia, was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff's department said. Kreibich has not been formally charged in the Sunday afternoon accident, according to online court records. It will be up to the Trempealeau County district attorney to decide whether to file charges.
