GREEN BAY - Three Wisconsin girls are making national headlines for what they wore, or didn't wear, at Sunday’s Packers game. Their goal was to be seen on the Jumbotron at Sunday’s championship game. They not only made the Jumbotron, they're getting face time all over the country! They're known as the Packers Bikini Girls. Three fans of the green and gold who stripped down in the freezing cold. “We wanted to get on the Jumbotron and it was the coldest game of the season. For sure we thought we'd get on with our swim suits,” Jen said. Click on the link under related content to see an interview with the Bikini Girls. Now...sisters Jen and Ashley and their cousin Liz can be seen on more than just the Jumbotron. They've been on Inside Edition; contacted by Maxim magazine...even Howard Stern mentioned them on his radio show. TODAY’S TMJ4’s Melissa McCrady asked, “What do you think about all the publicity you've gotten?” “It's awesome!” Jen said. “We just do it for fun because we love the Packers and love going to games...and we never expected anything like this to happen,” Liz said. Even in subzero temperatures, these college students insist they weren't cold at Sunday’s game! “We got in the game and our adrenaline took over and all the fans cheering and we just did it and we weren't cold one bit,” Liz said. In case you're wondering, you can't run out and buy one of the bikinis. They're handmade. The girls bought yellow bikini tops and sewed a Packers “G” on the front. The girls say they are thinking about marketing them. The bikini girls have a lot of ideas and a lot of hope for the future, but if this is as far as their fame goes...they're happy with their success so far. “It's been really fun!” the girls said. Two of the girls go to school at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
