MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee police have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run accident that left a two year old girl in critical condition. Click on the link under related content to see video from the scene. Police say a woman was walking a 2-year-old girl from daycare home. They were walking in the cross walk with the signal and were walking north bound on Wind Lake. Police say the suspect was going to turn left onto Wind Lake and hit the girl and woman. The girl is in very critical condition. There is no word on the condition of the woman. Police arrested a 24-year-old man in the 1500 block of Wind Lake. He had a warrant out for his arrest for driving without a license. He said he knew he hit someone, but was afraid so he drove away.
