Candy Cane Lane Opens Friday

WEST ALLIS - Candy Cane Lane opens Friday at 6:00 p.m. For more than 20 years, the West Allis neighborhood bounded by Oklahoma and Montana Avenues and 92nd to 96th Street is transformed into a winter wonderland to benefit the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Fund. People come from all over Milwaukee to drive or stroll through the uniquely decorated neighborhood. The event is free, but visitors may leave a donation if they wish. The donations contribute to kids with cancer and related blood disorders. Candy Cane Lane is open from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. until December 30.
