Semi, Car Accident On East Bound 894

MILWAUKEE - A bad accident has occurred on 894 on Milwaukee's south west side. It happened in the east bound lanes of 894 near 84th Street. Department of Transportation video shows a semi stopped in the inside lane and what appears to be a passenger car that may have hit the semi. The truck and the car were apparently heading in the same direction when they sideswiped each other. The car spun and ended up pinned underneath the semi. An adult female driver is the only passenger and she only suffered minor injuries. There were no injuries to the truck driver. Traffic is backed up in the area and several ambulances are on the scene. Two lanes of 894 are still shut down Tuesday afternoon. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
