MADISON - The Dane County Sheriff's office is now releasing a description of a boarder who stayed at a missing woman's home before she disappeared. Francine Tate, 50, has been missing since July 17 when she was last seen leaving Mad City Church on East Washington Ave. around 8:30 p.m. The night before she and her husband allowed a man named Randy to stay with them. Police are now looking for that man. They say he is 5'6" with a thin build, goatee and wavy hair. He may be with a black dog and pushing a luggage cart. The Sheriff's Dept. broadcast the description to the Milwaukee Police Dept. on Monday, July 23. They do not have any specific tips that put Randy or Tate in Milwaukee. It is believed that Randy has left the Madison area and is traveling west toward South Dakota. Police say Randy is not considered a suspect in this case, however, detectives would like to speak with him to see if he could provide any information that may prove helpful in finding Francine Tate. Billboards are another tool being used to find Tate. Her picture is flashing on six electronic billboards in the Milwaukee area. Francine Tate is a white female, 5'4", about 110 lbs., with gray-brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a short-sleeve shirt and dark shorts. Her missing car is a burgundy 1997 Toyota Corolla with gold trim. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dane County Communications Center at 608.255.2345.
