Local NewsMissing Student's Family Offers RewardBy Silvia Acevedo
MADISON - The family of a missing University of Wisconsin Whitewater student announced a total of $10,000 in reward money for her safe return. The money comes in the form of two $5,000 reward funds.
Kelly Nolan, 22, of Waunakee, has been missing since June 23. She was last seen partying with friends on Madison's State St. the night before her disappearance.
Family has been tight-lipped on the last conversation with her and whether there are any new leads in the case. However, they do say they hope offering a reward will encourage anyone with information to speak up.
The reward has several conditions. It will go to anyone who provides "information resulting in the safe return of Kelly Nolan or the arrest and conviction of a perpetrator involved in a violent crime or homicide," said Kelly's mother, Mary Jane Nolan.
Kelly is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5'6", weighing 125 pounds. She may have been wearing a green, scoop-neck shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (608) 266-6014.
