Two Racine County Motorcycle Crashes

By Jenn Rourke

RACINE COUNTY - On Saturday, a motorcycle crash in Muskego killed one person and sent another to the hospital.

Two people on the motorcycle crashed into a car at Racine Avenue and Kelsey Drive.

The driver of the car was not hurt. The Journal Sentinel reported the crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m., and the passengers on the motorcycle were one woman and one man.

At 7 p.m. the same day, a crash in Burlington at State Hwy. 83 and Karcher Rd. left another motorcyclist critically injured after a pickup truck failed to yield and slammed into the motorcycle making a turn.

The pickup driver, Luke Brunner, was charged with operating while intoxicated and failure to yield.

The victim, whose identity nor gender were released, was first transported to a Burlington hospital and later flown by Flight for Life to UW-Madison’s hospital for treatment of multiple life-threatening injuries.
