Giant Crystal Chandelier Cleaned web-exclusive, raw video

MILWAUKEE- A big cleaning job wrapped up at the Pabst Theater Tuesday. The giant chandelier was lowered so that each Austrian crystal could be cleaned and polished by hand. There are 33 running inches of crystals, and the whole thing weighs about 1.23 tons. Each jewel had to be cleaned by hand with a lint-free cloth. The work was completed by a dedicated staff of volunteers. Pat Balon, of the Pabst Theater, said the cleaning really made a difference. It took about eight hours to clean.
