Prosecutor Offers Plea Deal 5/26/06

MANITOWOC - The attorney for the teenage suspect in the Teresa Halbach murder case said the prosecutor is offering his client a plea deal. Brendan Dassey, 16, and his uncle, Steven Avery, are accused of raping and killing the photographer last Halloween. No details of the plea bargain are being released. Dassey's attorney said his client has not made a decision on whether or not he will accept the prosecutor's offer.
