Avery's Nephew in Court 3/3/06

MANITOWOC - A 16-year-old relative of Steven Avery made his first appearance in a Manitowoc County Court. Brendan Dassey's lawyer, Ralph Sczygelski, said Steven Avery threatened Brendan into raping and killing Teresa Halbach last October. He adds the teenager was an average student at Mishicot High School. Dassey will staying in a juvenile jail and is being held on $250,000 bond. Sczygelski said Dassey will plead not guilty at a future court appearance.
