MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee is going hog wild over the arrival of thousands of riders for Harley-Davidson’s 105th anniversary.

The celebration officially kicks off Wednesday.

The sound of Harley-Davidson motorcycles…is the sound that will fill the Milwaukee area all weekend. Harley riders from all over the world are here to celebrate where it all began.

"It's amazing!" Marta Nord said.

Nord rode up from Alabama. It took about two days. She says the welcome she got when she arrived "home" was amazing.

"You got goose bumps on your arms. It was nice. Just a nice homecoming,” Nord said.

She plans to visit the Harley Museum and decorate her bike for the big parade.

TODAY’S TMJ4’s Heather Shannon: "What are you most looking forward to?"

"Enjoying all the music. ZZ Top, Bruce Springsteen,” Nord said.

The ride home was a 3,000 mile journey for one biker!

"Salud Mexico!" Isaac Gomez said.

Gomez spent a week riding up from Mexico City. He and his friends heard about the celebration in a magazine. They are thrilled to be in Milwaukee for the first time.

"Have a lot of fun, see a lot of bikes, look at pretty women,” Gomez said.

Obviously, everyone is excited about something different.

The official welcome announcement for the official kick off to the celebration will happen at 6:00 Wednesday night.
