GREENFIELD – Christine M. Kopps, 74, of Greenfield died Monday afternoon when her car hit a dump truck.

Kopps was driving northbound on Highway 100 when she failed to stop for a dump truck that was stopped for a red light at Coldspring Road.

Witnesses told investigators that the dump truck’s brake lights were operating properly.

Police said the 55-year-old driver of the truck is not suspected of any wrong doing in this crash.

Investigators continue to examine crash evidence and await autopsy results in hopes of determining the cause of the crash.
