SALEM - Authorities say a 23-year-old man suspected in the disappearance of a 14-year-old Kenosha County girl has been arrested in New York.

The FBI on Thursday said Kyle DeWolf surrendered to state and federal authorities at a private residence near Binghamton, New York.

An FBI spokesman says Rachel Green is being interviewed by authorities as plans are made to return her to her Salem home.

She had been reported missing by her mother Monday. Authorities say text messages on Green's cell phone showed she was communicating with DeWolf about the time of her disappearance.

Her condition Thursday night was not immediately available.

DeWolf is already charged with transferring obscene material to a minor and crossing state lines in an effort to have sex with a minor.

Green was last seen early Monday morning as she waited for her bus to take her to summer school.

She never got on the bus or made it to school. Instead, police say she got into a car with DeWolf who drove off with her.

Investigators believe Green met DeWolf through MySpace.

DeWolf was recently discharged from the Army and was living in Georgia.
