HALES CORNERS - It's nice to set out with a plan, but there are times Speedbusters needs to throw that plan out the window.
Because you can't ignore a spot as speedy as a stretch of street 108th Street in Hales Corners.
We wound up in Hales Corners on a tip from Twitter. Brianna told us there's a speeding problem at Hales Corners Elementary School.
Well, it was pretty quiet there today, but 108th Street was screaming.
People who live here tell us it's always like this, which makes simply getting onto 108th a challenge.
The limit here, we remind you, is 35.
That's plenty fast for a street this wide and busy, but clearly not fast enough for our speeders.
