BROOKFIELD - Police have arrested a man they believe robbed a Subway restaurant in Brookfield on March 13.

According to the criminal complaint, Salvador Sanchez, 30 of Mukwonago, entered the restaurant just before 10 p.m. on the 13th and showed employees a handgun while asking for the money in their drawer. Both employees working at the time said the man grabbed money from the register and dropped a $5 bill as he left.

The suspect apparently did not have a disguise and was seen clearly on the surveillance video. Waukesha Police later took Sanchez into custody, and said it appeared he was wearing the same shirt seen on the video at the time.
