MILWAUKEE - Archbishop Listecki started mass at St. Francis Seminary less than an hour after the announcement was made for the new pope.

Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio of Argentina chosen as new pope earlier Wednesday, and will become Pope Francis. The Argentine became the first-ever pope selected from the Americas, and the first non-European in 1200 years.
