KANSAS CITY - Good news for Twinkie lovers! The spongy cream-filled snacks could be back on shelves soon.
A joint offer from Metropoulos and Company and Apollo Global Management was picked by Hostess to buy their snack cake division.
The CEO of Metropoulos and Company released a statment saying they'll have "America's favorite snacks back on the shelf by this summer."
