No major incidents at Shamrock Shuffle
MILWAUKEE - We expect to learn the number of arrests and incidents soon from a popular annual pub crawl in Milwaukee.
It's called the Shamrock Shuffle, and so far, Milwaukee Police say there were no major problems. But, tragedies in years past had participants conscious about safety.
Event organizers hired independent security to help participants cross streets safely.
The weekend marks one year since Thomas Hecht disappeated after taking part in a similar pub crawl.
"We all talked about having us be together at the same time and make sure that we're all together when we go home because it's the most important thing," Taylor Dufor says.
Hecht's body was found a few weeks later.
UWM student Nick Wilcox disappeared after a night of drinking New Year's Eve on Old World Third Street. He still has not been found.
