Local group rescues pit bulls, talks about stereotypes
MILWAUKEE- Dog attacks took center stage Wednesday after a pit bull killed a small child.
During continuing coverage of this story, Photojournalist Mark Wirtz shot a story about the stereotypes against certain breeds of dogs.
His video depicted pit bulls that were seized by the Milwaukee Animal Domestic Animal Control Commission. The dogs mostly come from warrant searched homes or when owners are arrested. They are housed on "Pit Row" and Wirtz did an excellent job showcasing them in their cages.
